OECD Ber­lin Centre

The OECD Ber­lin Centre pro­motes the work of the OECD to policy makers, media and the pub­lic in large in Aus­tria, Ger­many and Switzer­land. It is now extend­ing its activ­it­ies to Cent­ral and East­ern Europe. You will be work­ing with us in set­ting up a net­work of research organ­isa­tions and stake­hold­ers in the region to pro­mote and dis­cuss OECD research and find­ings. You will be part of a small, team, work­ing in a nice atmo­sphere.

Working field:

What we offer / what you will learn
  • Research­ing and identi­fy­ing poten­tial part­ner insti­tu­tions in the CEE region for the OECD CEE net­work
  • Assist­ing in the pre­par­a­tion of a concept and a work pro­gramme for the OECD CEE net­work
  • Out­reach to poten­tial part­ner insti­tu­tions, con­tact man­age­ment and fol­low-up
  • Organ­ising and man­aging events for the OECD CEE net­work
  • Set­ting-up a web pres­ence for the net­work
  • Close work­ing rela­tions with OECD staff in Paris and with research­ers and stake­hold­ers in there­gion. A good oppor­tun­ity to build your own net­work.


Your back­ground
  • A bach­elor degree or stud­ies closed to gradu­ation in eco­nom­ics or social sci­ence with a focus on the CEE region
  • Know­ledge about the polit­ical and the eco­nomic research land­scape in the CEE region
  • Flu­ent in Eng­lish and one lan­guage of the region, (Pol­ish, Czech, Slovak, Hun­garian, Slov­e­nian, Latvian, Lithuanian, Esto­nian), Ger­man would be a dis­tinct asset

What we offer:

To qual­ify for this intern­ship, you should be enrolled full-time at a uni­versity. We offer a con­tri­bu­tion to sub­sid­ence of € 830 / month.
