Méde­cins Sans Frontières (MSF) is a private and inde­pend­ent inter­na­tional med­ical aid organ­isa­tion. In the headquar­ters, over 250 employ­ees work in the fun­drais­ing, com­mu­nic­a­tions and engage­ment, fin­ance and admin­is­tra­tion, human resources and pro­ject depart­ments.

Stu­dent Assist­ant for Sus­tain­ab­il­ity

Working field:

Your tasks:
  • Sup­port Sus­tain­ab­il­ity Man­ager in the day-to-day activ­it­ies
  • Sup­port cre­ation, imple­ment­a­tion and fol­low-up of work­shops
  • Research best prac­tice
  • Liaise with rel­ev­ant stake­hold­ers
  • Sup­port col­lec­tion of car­bon foot­print for MSF Ger­many
  • Sup­port report writ­ing and cre­ation of present­a­tions

Requirements:

  • You are cur­rently study­ing (If pos­sible, please indic­ate the remain­ing dur­a­tion of stud­ies in the applic­a­tion)
  • You have some exper­i­ence in admin­is­trat­ive jobs, through intern­ships or sim­ilar
  • Pro­fi­ciency in Eng­lish, a good grasp of Ger­man is help­ful
  • Good know­ledge in MS Office products
  • Abil­ity to pro­cess and pri­or­it­ize large volumes of inform­a­tion
  • You have a detail-ori­ented way of work­ing
  • Abil­ity to work inde­pend­ently and in a timely man­ner
  • Abil­ity to research, gather and sum­mar­ise key inform­a­tion

What we offer:

  • Salary: 14€ per hour, plus 13th salary for employ­ment of six months or more
  • Annual salary increases in line with infla­tion adjust­ments as well as free drinks and fruit
  • Flex­ible work­ing hours and mobile work­ing with pres­ence in the office, depend­ing on work require­ments
  • Fin­an­cial allow­ance for remote work and com­pany laptop with addi­tional accessor­ies for mobile work­ing
  • 30 days hol­i­days plus days off on 12/24 and 12/31
  • Pos­sib­il­it­ies to work up to 6 weeks per year from abroad within the EU
