The department, founded by the German Association of the Automotive Industry (VDA), is engaged in the development of quality strategies and competences to secure new technologies and business models in global networks.

Together with the team you will develop solutions within practical projects with a focus on the automo-tive industry. For this purpose, innovative concepts for process, organization and competence design are to be developed as well as methods for supporting practical implementation in an international context.

Working field:

The product "vehicle" continues to evolve into a product "mobility", consisting of the vehicle and the associated functions. Traditionally, the security of vehicle components takes place during product development and in the production process at the factory. For the "mobility" product, the interaction between the individual digital components and the overall product is only visible and measurable dur-ing operation, since the integration takes place individually in the usage phase. This high variance creates quality risks that cannot be fully assured by a car manufacturer during the development phase. The car manufacturers must therefore ensure the functionality of the overall product "mobility", on whose functions they only have partial access. Your specific tasks include the further develop-ment of approaches and solutions, the use case monitoring developed in the department, a method-based process for monitoring and assessing risks in the area of use cases for mobility services.

  • Collaboration in research
  • Cooperation in third-party funded projects, especially in the automotive industry (innovative technologies and business models, supplier management, product development of the fu-ture)
  • Supervision of exercises and master theses
  • Opportunity for PhD thesis

  • Successfully completed university degree (diplom, master or equivalent) studies with a technical and / or business background
  • Knowledge in business processes, risk management
  • Creativity
  • Experience in common PC applications
