StepUp! Strengthening individual career choice competencies.
StepUp! is a three-year project funded by the Mercator foundation. Our goal is to create a scien-tific data basis to promote the individual development of career choice competencies of all ado-lescents, but especially of those who are socially disadvantaged. The study aims to support the transition to a more targeted and thus more effective vocational and career education in Ger-many.
Organization and implementation of data collection and data analysis;
Literature and scale research; participation in the development and adaption of measurement tools
Creation of scientific publications and research reports
Presentation of evaluation results and reporting for different target groups (e.g. researchers, teachers)
Participation in press relations
Conducting workshops with schools
There is the possibility of an accompanying doctorate.
Successfully completed university degree (Master, Diplom or equivalent) in Psychology, Educational Science or Business Management
Experience in conducting empirical research projects (e.g., surveys) or general project management
Solid competencies in quantitative data analysis using standard statistical programs (SPSS, Mplus, and/or R)
Experience in presenting and documenting scientific results
Excellent command of the German language, spoken and written
Very good command of the English language, spoken and written
Excellent communication and cooperation skills
Profound knowledge of MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
Independent, systematic and accurate way of working
