Working field:

Active participation in the teaching and research activities of the Information Systems Engineering department ( in one or more of the areas of cloud services (especially serverless systems), blockchain (especially trustworthy data ecosystems), and/or information governance (especially privacy engineering).
Independent and team-based implementation of innovative research work, in particular using experimental methods. Cooperation with national and international partners both in science and in industry, in projects with goals of basic research or real, practical applicability.
The opportunity to do a doctorate is given and funded.


Successfully completed academic university degree in Computer Science, Information Systems Engineering/Management, or Industrial Engineering; high level of commitment and interest in innovative research; high passion and curiosity for new technologies; creativity and openness to work in interdisciplinary projects; enjoyment of taking on responsibility; very good communication skills and very good knowledge of German and English; solid knowledge of software development and very good programming skills.
