Working field:

You will be joining the chair of Mathematical Optimization and Machine Learning and participate in the newly created Einstein Research Unit for Quantum Computing. The research task mainly consists of researching quantum computing algorithm in the context of optimization. PhD thesis preparation is possible.

Requirements:

  • successfully completed university degree (Master, Diplom or equivalent) in Mathematics or a closely related course of studies
  • knowledge in the field of quantum computing
  • knowledge in the field of continuous and/or discrete optimization
  • very good command of the German and the English language
  • ability to work in a team
