Working field:

  • Coworking in research activities in the area of Metalorganics and Inorganic Materials with the goal of qualification
  • Main research focus: activation of small molecules with novel low-valent ligands
  • Coworking on research projects of the Cluster of Excellence "UniSysCat"
  • Teaching duties under the obligations of the subject areas described above


  • Successfully completed university degree (Master, Diplom or equivalent) in chemistry, with the focus on metalorganic chemistry
  • Master's thesis in chemistry with the focus on metalorganic chemistry and/or coordination chemistry
  • Profound theoretical and experimental knowledge in a current field of organometallic chemistry
  • Experience in the synthesis of metal complexes is required
  • Excellent knowledge of spoken and written German is required to perform the teaching duties
  • Good knowledge of the English language is desired; the willingness to acquire the missing language capacity is expected
