Postdoc­toral Researcher Photonic data sci­ence


Working field:

  • Invest­ig­a­tion of data pre-treat­ment and data stand­ard­iz­a­tion via inverse mod­el­ling for dif­fer­ent photonic tech­niques
  • Imple­ment­a­tion and explor­a­tion of sim­u­la­tions of optical meas­ure­ment tech­niques
  • Invest­ig­a­tion of machine learn­ing tech­niques for data stand­ard­iz­a­tion and mod­al­ity trans­fer


  • Rel­ev­ant com­pleted PhD in a sci­entific field such as math­em­at­ics, com­puter sci­ence, phys­ics or chem­istry
  • Know­ledge of data sci­ence, sim­u­la­tion, and/or data stand­ard­iz­a­tion
  • Exper­i­ence in a pro­gram­ming lan­guage such as Python, R, or Mat­lab
  • Good lan­guage skills in Eng­lish are a pre­requis­ite
  • Exper­i­ence with photonic data, such as spec­tro­scopic data and optical image data, would be desir­able
