Research assist­ant - 0.45 work­ing time - salary grade E13 TV-L Ber­liner Hoch­schu­len

Working field:

Scientific assistance in the research project "Fit Balkans"

Tasks:

  • Co-working on literature review and data analysis for writing two journal papers (Paper 1 on the current status of physical activity of young women and the correlations with urban land use in the Balkans region; Paper 2 on analyzing the data and writing the second paper on the role of interventions in urban land use for promoting the physical activity and wellbeing of young women in Balkans), as well as a policy report about the recommendations for improving the psychological wellbeing and physical activity of young women in Balkans countries via daily mobility, lifestyles, nutrition, and the like.
  • Preparation of materials and organization of MOOCs (Massive Open Online Course) including handouts, learning materials in the form of short texts, and PPT presentations.
  • Organisation and implementation of scientific events

Requirements:

  • Successfully completed university degree (Master, Diplom or equivalent) in the field of transport planning, urban planning, geography or public health
  • Good knowledge of German and/or English required; willingness to acquire the respective missing language skills
  • Confident handling of MS Office

Desirable:

  • Experience with Citavi, Arc Gis and SPSS
  • Experience with scientific publications
