1 Student Assistant in the area of
Technical Consulting and Laboratories

for 60-86 hours / month flexible from 15.10.2024
Application deadline: 15.08.2024

Aufgabenbeschreibung:

We are looking for a tech-savvy and curious person who enjoys new technologies and is
willing to learn new things and support us in the area of Technical Consulting and
Laboratories.

A great enthusiasm for new technologies and the willingness to familiarize yourself with
new fields is more important to us than previous knowledge. However, you must be
enrolled at a German university or university of applied sciences.

Erwartete Qualifikationen:

Scientists regularly have ideas that require technical solutions. You will be part of a team
that acts as an interface between science and IT. We try to find or develop technical
solutions to support the scientists in their endeavors. This can include researching, testing,
and configuring software solutions (e.g., Integromat, n8n, Mattermost, Talkyard, Jira) as
well as hardware (e.g., virtual reality, audio and video equipment, wearables).
Furthermore, you will help to technologically support and further develop the existing
laboratories (PC, eye-tracking, EEG, and virtual reality laboratories).
We are of course open to new technologies – do you have an exciting idea? Feel free to
contribute!

Unser Angebot:

We know that studying demands a lot. That’s why your studies always come first with us.
Your working hours will be flexible and planned around your studies.
You will find yourself in a stimulating and friendly working environment – in a small team
with many opportunities to learn new skills, implement your own ideas, and learn more
about modern technologies in practical use. We will of course also provide you with a work
notebook if needed. Moreover, there is always the possibility to write your Bachelor's or
Master's thesis with us.

And what interests you at least as much: The salary is regulated by collective agreement
and amounts to €12.41/hour for Bachelor's and €14.33/hour for Master's students.
You are also welcome to contribute to other areas of our IT if you are interested. Are you
interested in server technologies or scientific computing? Are you excited about
programming experiments and applications? Is 3D scanning and 3D printing your thing?
Perfect match!
