HR Operations Working Student (w/m/d)

As an HR Operations working student, you will support our team by taking on administrative tasks, maintaining our personnel files and taking responsibility for improving our HR processes. As a third member of our People Team, you will also have the opportunity to get involved in other exciting HR projects, for example in recruiting or in the area of employee retention / employee satisfaction.

This position is based in Berlin and is available immediately. Ideally you can support us with 16-20 hours per week. Full-time internships are also possible.

Working field:

Your responsibilities at GO2 Markets

  • You will become the expert and point of contact for our HR admin tool (Personio), optimising its use, introducing additional features and improving workflows, including creating templates and reviewing applications.
  • Maintain and update our personnel files and ensure that all documentation is accurate and up to date.
  • You will assist in the preparation of employment contracts and process requests from the team, e.g. for employer confirmations, internship confirmations and reference letters.
  • You will support the payroll department by carrying out preparatory tasks.
  • You will help with relocations, visa processes and onboarding, help new employees settle in and ensure a smooth start at the company.
  • Depending on your interests and strengths, you will contribute to company-wide projects and initiatives of the People Team, for example in Recruiting or Employee Retention & Developmen

Requirements:

Your profile

  • You are in an advanced degree programme (Master), e.g. Psychology, Human Resource Management or Business with a focus on Human Resources.
  • Ideally, you have already completed an internship or working student activity in a similar HR function, but this is not a must.
  • You have excellent communication skills in German and English, both written and verbal (C1 level).
    You have strong self-organisation skills and are motivated to contribute your own ideas proactively and strategically.
  • You are detail-orientated and known for your structured way of working.
  • You share our people-first mindset, treat others with empathy and can imagine a long-term career in HR.
