4flow soft­ware deve­lops a range of glo­bal stan­dard soft­ware pro­ducts for logistics and trans­por­ta­tion plan­ning that can be app­lied across all indus­tries. The inte­gra­ted plan­ning approach of our soft­ware pro­ducts ran­ges from the long-term opti­mi­za­tion of net­work struc­tures to the short-term opti­mi­za­tion of trans­por­ta­tion capa­city uti­li­za­tion. In addi­tion, plan­ning results can be com­bi­ned with trans­por­ta­tion pro­ces­sing and accoun­ting for inte­gra­ted trans­por­ta­tion manage­ment.

You will be working wit­hin one of our cross-func­tio­nal pro­duct teams that is ope­ra­ting as a lean start-up, con­nec­ting the dots bet­ween mate­rial and trans­por­ta­tion manage­ment. In this regard, we are loo­king for a stu­dent assi­stant to sup­port our growth. Join our team at our offices in Ber­lin, Munich, Dus­sel­dorf, or Ham­burg.

Your role

You will sup­port one of our new pro­duct teams by app­ly­ing agile working methods and being invol­ved in over­see­ing the pro­duct deve­lop­ment sta­tus. Working approx. 15-20 hours/week (fle­xi­ble arran­ge­ment accord­ing to your sche­dule), the fol­lo­wing diverse range of tasks can be expec­ted:

• Struc­ture and opti­mize infor­ma­tion in our know­ledge manage­ment tool.
• Under­stand mar­kets, com­pe­ti­tion, and user requi­re­ments in depth.
• Sup­port inter­nal pro­ject manage­ment tasks while being an active player in the agile soft­ware deve­lop­ment envi­ron­ment.
• Take on tasks in the con­text of mee­ting pre­pa­ra­tion & exe­cu­tion with rele­vant sta­ke­hol­ders (inter­nal & exter­nal).
• Sup­port the con­cept design by rese­arch, tes­ting and/or deve­lo­ping own con­cept ideas

Your pro­file

• You are cur­r­ently com­ple­ting your mas­ter's degree or are in the final sta­ges of your bache­lor's degree in indus­trial engi­nee­ring, busi­ness admi­nis­tra­tion or a com­pa­ra­ble field, ide­ally with logistics as a focus.

• You have already gai­ned some initial prac­ti­cal expe­ri­ence in logistics and/or pro­duct manage­ment, ide­ally in B2B con­text.
• Your excel­lent ana­ly­ti­cal and com­mu­ni­ca­tion skills, as well as your proac­tivity and self-orga­ni­za­tion set you apart.
• You have a high affi­nity for soft­ware pro­ducts and tech­no­lo­gi­cal inno­va­tion.
• You are inte­rested in pro­ject manage­ment (e.g. agile) and would like to gain expe­ri­ence in this area.
• Your pro­fi­ci­ency with MS Office is part of your daily work as well as your flu­ent use of the Eng­lish lan­guage for com­mu­ni­ca­ting with our inter­na­tio­nal col­leagues.
• A plus would be first expe­ri­en­ces with SAP or any other ERP-sys­tems.
