Das Max-Planck-Institut für Bildungsforschung ist ein Forschungsinstitut in Berlin mit derzeit ca. 350 Mitarbeiter*innen aus der ganzen Welt. Wir erforschen multidisziplinär die Voraussetzungen und Prozesse menschlicher Entwicklung und Bildung. Unser Ziel ist es, zu verstehen, wie Menschen sich in ihrer Umgebung entwickeln, in ihr agieren und von ihr beeinflusst werden. Student Employees (f/m/d)

(40 – 80 Hrs. / Month)

Working field:

The research project RAVEN at the Max Planck Institute for Human Development, Berlin is looking for student employees to support a longitudinal study on memory development in children aged 4 – 10. In our study, we use behavioral and neuroimaging methods to investigate how children develop memory abilities across childhood.

Requirements:

  • Highly motivated, reliable and responsible students of psychology (all semesters) or a related
    subject with very good English and native-level German skills
  • Enjoy working with children
  • Interest in developmental psychology/cognitive neuroscience
  • Good knowledge of programming languages (R, MATLAB, Python) or willingness to develop
    them
  • Experience in data collection for psychological studies is helpful, but not required
  • Perspective interest in working on the project for at least 1 year

  • Flexible working hours; gross 15.18€ or 15.84€/hour depending on qualifications
  • Insight into all stages of preparation, implementation and evaluation of developmental
    psychology studies
  • Training in the implementation and evaluation of complex behavioral data analyses
