Two positions for student assistants in the lab

Position for students in our epidemiological laboratory

Aufgabenbeschreibung:

  • Running in vitro malaria cultures (have a look at the SOP video’s here to get an idea of what that looks like: https://sites.google.com/view/artemisrepository)
  • In vitro drug susceptibility experiments
  • (this all starts after a 1-month hands-on training in the lab)

Erwartete Qualifikationen:

  • Biology/Biomedical students (or other life sciences)
  • Affinity to microbiology and microscopy
  • Available for 3 days a week, 3 hours each
  • Communicative, independent, extremely excited about parasites

Unser Angebot:

  • Student assistant contract/Werkstudierendenvertrag for two years, starting May 2026
  • 40h/month, renumeration according to Charité Tarifvertrag Stud III
  • Possibility to do a thesis on the work done
  • Included in publications on the work done
  • We are a nice group and have a coffee machine
