Design work and design support for the development of InP-based photonic integrated circuits (PIC) and hybrid integration within a DFG financed research and development project; dissemination tasks; representation of the sub project within project consortium; PhD thesis preparation is possible.
Successfully completed university degree (Master, Diplom or equivalent) in physics or mathematics; expert in programming mask layouts with LEdit; design experience of PIC-components with Fimmwave, Beamprop and Fullwave; experienced in the atomization of measurement setups; good English language skills are desired.
