Our rese­arch has an empi­ri­cal focus with app­li­ca­ti­ons in Finance, Geo­spa­tial ana­lytics, Energy infor­ma­tics, Smart cities and sustaina­bi­lity, Logi­s­tics, and Health­care ana­lytics.

  • Optim­iz­a­tion / oper­a­tions research
  • Eco­no­met­rics, time series ana­lysis
  • Bayesian stat­ist­ics
  • Inform­a­tion sys­tems
  • Elec­tronic mar­kets

We do not focus on can­did­ates from a spe­cific study area. Cur­rently our team mem­bers have very diverse back­grounds, such as Com­puter Sci­ence, Eco­nom­ics, Man­age­ment, Phys­ics, Math­em­at­ics, and Engin­eer­ing. Can­did­ates should be eager to solve ana­lyt­ical tasks, ideally, com­bined with inter­me­di­ate pro­gram­ming skills (e.g. in R, Python).

What we of­fer:

The remu­ner­a­tion is based on the Col­lect­ive Agree­ment for the Pub­lic Ser­vice Sec­tor (TV-L, E13).
