Work­ing field:

Rese­arch and work on the next gen­er­a­tion of por­ous metal orga­nic frame­works (MOFs) as part of a DFG pro­ject. Res­pons­ib­il­ity for the syn­the­sis of the orga­nic lin­kers and the cor­res­pond­ing MOFs, exten­sion of exper­i­ence in crys­tal­lo­gra­phy, small mole­cule stor­age, tox­ic­o­logy, mag­net­ism and pro­ton con­duct­iv­ity. PhD the­sis pre­par­a­tion is pos­sible.

Require­ments:

  • Suc­cess­fully com­ple­ted uni­ver­sity degree (Mas­ter, Dip­lom or equi­val­ent) in the nat­ural sci­ences, in par­tic­u­lar in the areas of chem­istry, orga­nic chem­istry or inor­ganic chem­istry.
  • Exper­i­ence with orga­nic syn­the­sis is requi­red.
  • The abil­ity to work in an inter­dis­cip­lin­ary Team, excel­lent com­mu­nic­a­tion skills, and a high Motiv­a­tion to bring own ideas to the pro­ject are expec­ted.
  • Very good Ger­man and Eng­lish com­mu­nic­a­tion skills are a pre­requis­ite.
