We are a pro audio com­pany from Ber­lin, Ger­many. Since early 2011, we have been work­ing on rad­ic­ally trans­form­ing audio tech­no­logy, by re-think­ing the under­ly­ing phys­ics of sound repro­duc­tion. Busi­ness Devel­op­ment Intern (f/m/d)

Work­ing field:

We are look­ing for a motiv­ated Busi­ness Devel­op­ment Intern who can join our great team for a min­imum of 5 months. Work­ing stu­dents applic­a­tions will also be con­sidered.

In this role, you will work in a BD intern capa­city, within the Holoplot Com­mer­cial team. The Busi­ness Devel­op­ment Intern (BDI) con­sol­id­ates sales data and external mar­ket data to source growth oppor­tun­it­ies and fur­ther devel­ops the exist­ing sales infra­struc­ture, chan­nels & pipelines. Once iden­ti­fied, the (BDI) is respons­ible for plan­ning and mon­it­or­ing the roll-out of the neces­sary activ­it­ies to test and then con­vert such oppor­tun­it­ies into sus­tain­able growth.

The Busi­ness Devel­op­ment Intern is a cross-func­tional, chal­len­ging role with a strong impact on the suc­cess of our com­pany.

More spe­cific­ally, in this role you will:

  • Run in-depth mar­ket ana­lysis and sales data con­sol­id­a­tion
  • Coordin­ate stra­tegic go-to-mar­ket ini­ti­at­ives
  • Eval­u­ate and con­trib­ute to the roll-out of new busi­ness oppor­tun­it­ies, mar­kets & part­ner­ships in col­lab­or­a­tion with other parts of the busi­ness
  • Improve the sales pro­cess and infra­struc­ture and sup­ports the activ­it­ies in the mar­ket of Sales Rep­res­ent­at­ives
  • Sup­port Sales and Mar­ket­ing in devel­op­ing suc­cess­ful cam­paigns and in grow­ing exist­ing chan­nels
  • Provide a pro­act­ive coordin­a­tion role, includ­ing gen­er­at­ing and imple­ment­ing plans, provid­ing brief­ings and track­ing actions
  • Help deal with early iden­ti­fic­a­tion and res­ol­u­tion of block­ers; act­ively driv­ing issues through to res­ol­u­tion

Require­ments:

  • A first exper­i­ence in busi­ness devel­op­ment or man­age­ment con­sult­ing. Back­ground in the Enter­tain­ment industry or B2B star­tups is a strong plus
  • Have a chal­lenger mind­set: always ques­tion­ing the status quo in order to improve, con­stantly crit­ic­ally review­ing the team and one­self
  • Demon­strate excel­lent com­mu­nic­a­tion skills, ori­ented towards value cre­ation for the cus­tomer
  • Have exper­i­ence in estab­lish­ing cred­ib­il­ity and work­ing with a wide vari­ety of stake­hold­ers from tech­nical experts to C-levels
  • Are inde­pend­ent, pro­act­ive prob­lem solver with a hands-on approach
  • Have the com­pet­ency to judge oppor­tun­it­ies crit­ic­ally and select the best for the suc­cess of the com­pany
  • Like new chal­lenges and are ready to take a deep dive into com­plex top­ics
  • Are a high achiever and never sat­is­fied with the easy res­ults
  • Flu­ent Eng­lish is a must, speak­ing Eng­lish or Ger­man on a nat­ive level would be bene­fi­cial
  • You are pas­sion­ate about innov­a­tion and music
