The third-party funded, multi-site collaboration project among the Max Planck Institute for Human Development in Berlin (PI: Zoe Ngo), Charité – Universitätsmedizin Berlin (PI: Claudia Buss), and Goethe-Universität Frankfurt (PI: Yee Lee Shing) is looking for applications for a position as a student research assistant (f/m/d) for 35.5 hrs/month.
Project description
The 4-year-long experiment aims to characterize the development of schema formation and memory specificity, on the behavioral and neural levels, in children and adults. We will examine how early life adversity, known to impact consolidation-related neural substrates, differentially impacts schema formation and episodic memory in children. Further, we will assess the memory benefits of targeted memory reactivation for schema-relevant and schema-irrelevant information in children with and without early stress exposure, and in adults.
