Job summary

Join our Transformation team, where you’ll be fully integrated from day one.

In the Transformation team we work towards the vision of unleashing everyone’s full innovation potential at Lufthansa Group and beyond. We equip employees and leaders with the mindset and skillset for driving digital innovation and transfer the methodologies, culture, and structures we see at innovative companies into the corporate context. For that, our team built a portfolio of products and tailored formats to upskill Lufthansa Group employees and leaders on topics like digitalization (especially AI), innovation, technology, and cultural transformation.

As an Intern (full-time) or Working Student (>20h/week) in the Transformation team, you will support the design, marketing, and delivery of our formats – from innovation trainings and workshops to community events and thought leadership content. Many of these formats take place at our office in Berlin-Mitte, where you’ll help create a unique customer experience and take charge of event hosting with service excellence in mind.

You’ll collaborate closely with a multidisciplinary team to connect people, ideas, and technologies that shape the future of Lufthansa Group.

The position is located in Berlin with occasional onsite presence at the Lufthansa Group locations in Frankfurt am Main, Munich, Hamburg, and Cologne.

Start: October 2026

  • Support the planning, marketing, design, and facilitation of (virtual) workshops, learning formats, and events for Lufthansa Group employees.
  • Research and create engaging content around innovation for our learning formats as well as our communication channels (e.g. internal channels, Miro boards, knowledge management pages, mailings).
  • Create a unique customer experience by organizing and hosting training days end to end, from venue setup, catering and logistics to participant communication, ensuring service excellence at every touchpoint.
  • Scout new exciting (LearnTech) technologies as well as relevant trends and translate them into trainings, workshops, and projects.
  • Take ownership of small projects and continuously improve our team processes, e.g. by exploring AI trends and applying them to increase efficiency.

Requirements:

  • Student in an education-/psychology, innovation-, entrepreneurship-, design/media-oriented or communication-related field.
  • Strong communication skills in German and English and a confident presence.
  • You’re passionate and curious about rethinking learning, with a stake for what makes good learning formats work and what keeps participants engaged. Experience in Learning & Development, training, event management, corporate innovation, consulting or startups is a bonus.
  • Curiosity and strong research skills for topics like digital transformation, innovation culture, and AI & emerging technologies.
  • Enthusiasm for actively using AI in everyday work and experimenting with new use cases – first experience in building small automations or skills is a plus.
  • Familiarity with tools like Miro, Mailchimp, Notion, Canva, Figma, MS Teams, or AI tools (e.g. Claude) is a plus.
  • High degree of motivation, self-initiative, ownership, strong organizational skills and a passion for hosting people.

What we offer:

  • Be part of a diverse, forward-thinking team shaping the innovation agenda of Lufthansa Group.
Gain hands-on experience in learning and transformation projects and exposure to senior leadership.
  • Work in a collaborative, growth-oriented environment that values experimentation, ownership, and personal growth.
  • Develop your facilitation and innovation skills in the heart of the Berlin tech ecosystem.
  • Experience the value of cross-functional collaboration across leaning, innovation, design, and strategy.
  • Corporate benefits: A USC membership – and yes, we also do have a fruit basket.
