Research Associate (PostDoc) - 0.5 working time - salary grade E13 TV-L Berliner Hochschulen
Remark: A second position with 0.5 working time will be available at the FU.
Working field:
SFB/Transregio 388 "Rough Analysis, Stochastic Dynamics and Related Fields" investigates the interplay between rough analysis and stochastic dynamics. Central aspects include rough paths and subsequent developments for nonlinear stochastic partial differential equations. The theory of signatures and rough volatility also provides important connections to algebra, statistics, and financial mathematics.

Your task will be to carry out research in Project A09 "Dormant populations in heterogeneous random environments" within the SFB/Transregio 388.
Requirements:
- Successfully completed university degree (Master, Diplom or equivalent) and doctorate in Mathematics at the start of employment
- Very good knowledge of stochastic processes and stochastic dynamics
- Good knowledge of German and/or English required; willingness to acquire the respective missing language skills
Desirable:
- If possible experiences with random particle systems, branching processes, stochastic partial differential equations and/or random media
