Hum­boldt-Uni­ver­si­tät zu Ber­lin - Exzellenzcluster Matters of Activity

Der Clus­ter Mat­ters of Activity hat das Ziel, Grund­la­gen für eine neue Kul­tur des Mate­ria­len zu schaf­fen. Die zen­trale Vision des Pro­jekts ist es, Bil­der, Räume und Mate­ria­lien als aktive Bau­for­men einer neuen sym­bo­li­schen und phy­si­schen Rea­li­tät zu ent­wi­ckeln, in der sich Natur und Kul­tur in neu­ar­ti­ger Weise ver­schrän­ken. In die­sem Zusam­men­hang ist die inter­dis­zi­pli­näre Erfor­schung und Ent­wick­lung von nach­hal­ti­gen Pro­zes­sen und Struk­tu­ren ein zen­tra­les Anlie­gen in allen Berei­chen visu­ell-mate­ria­ler Prä­gung wie Weara­bles, Werk­stoff­tech­nik, Medi­zin­tech­nik, Logis­tik, Archi­tek­tur und Robo­tik. Mehr als 40 Dis­zi­pli­nen unter­su­chen sys­te­ma­tisch Design­stra­te­gien für Mate­ria­lien und Struk­tu­ren, die sich spe­zi­fi­schen Anfor­de­run­gen und Umge­bun­gen anpas­sen. Der Clus­ter setzt auf eine neue Rolle von Gestal­tung, die sich vor dem Hin­ter­grund eines wach­sen­den Reich­tums und der ste­ti­gen Wei­ter­ent­wick­lung von Mate­ria­lien und Visua­li­sie­rungs­for­men in allen Dis­zi­pli­nen abzeich­net.

Student Assistant in the Project »Weaving« (m/f/d)

Aufgabenbeschreibung:

The project Weaving is currently looking for a student assistant in the field of History (start 1 December 2024, limited until December 2025, 40h per month, 13,46 € per hour).

Job Description

Collaboration in the research project »Weaving«
Literature research and procurement
Content support in the preparation of scientific events
Support in proofreading texts for scientific publications
Assistance with the completion of scientific presentations and publications

Erwartete Qualifikationen:

Requirements

Studies relevant to the area of responsibility in the field of history (or similar)

Very good language skills in English

Good language skills in German

Knowledge of French is an advantage

Required knowledge of current Office programs

Knowledge of microfilm and scanning technology (for libraries) is an advantage

To fill the position of student assistant, you must be enrolled in an undergraduate degree program (not a PhD program)
