Finnish-speaking analyst, based in Berlin or Copenhagen, starting from Jan/Feb 2025

Boutique ESG, Integrity and Human Rights due diligence and advisory firm fp Frank Partners is currently hiring for an analyst with Finnish language skills, based in either Berlin or Copenhagen and to start in January/February 2025.

Working field:

  • Perform open-source research on companies, individuals, as well as sectors and industries across various countries (particularly in Finland) on Integrity, ESG and/or Human Rights due diligence assignments
  • Review and analyse companies’ internal documentation and policies
  • Look out for issues of potential concern, such as lawsuits, allegations of corruption, or a poor business reputation
  • Analyse supply chains, human rights risks, and the environmental impact of companies
  • Find pragmatic solutions to improve companies’ ESG, compliance and human rights performance
  • Liaise with our network of external providers and freelance associates who gather information on the ground
  • Compose informative, visually appealing, and well-written reports in English

Requirements:

  • High proficiency in Finnish (ideally native)
  • Native or near-native proficiency in English with excellent report-writing skills
  • Advanced reading proficiency in one other European language (such as Scandinavian, German, French or Dutch) would be an advantage
  • Preferably, prior work experience in consulting or commercial context e.g. due diligence, corporate investigations, compliance; ESG & Sustainability; strategy consulting; M&A or private equity; human rights or supply chain
  • Completed university degree, preferably in Sustainability, Human Rights, Politics, Social Sciences, Economics, Business, Law, Languages, or similar
  • Professional proficiency in Microsoft Office, in particular PowerPoint
  • Investigative mindset, strong analytical skills, and a close attention to detail
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work on multiple overlapping projects and meet tight deadlines
  • Strong work ethic, keenness to learn and an entrepreneurial mindset
  • Ability to work independently and in teams – even remotely
