Bloomhaus is a Swiss venture capital firm, focused on investing in early-stage B2B startups (pre-seed & seed) in Europe, specifically focusing on the DACH region. Working Student in Venture Capital
Duration: 16-20h / week with flexible scheduling | Location: Berlin
Working field:
- You will become an integral part of our team from day one and support us in the implementation of our investment strategy (hypotheses, market research on technological trends, etc.) and identify the most promising investment opportunities in the startup ecosystem, including deal screening and documentation of the deal flow;
- Work with us on the due diligence of potential startup investments, including gathering information and references from clients and industry experts, researching potential competitors, assisting in the analysis of business models and financial valuation, as well as in the preparation of investment memos;
- Supporting marketing efforts as well as attending events and conferences to meet founders and investors and build relationships;
- Evaluate data and create reports to help us successfully track the progress of our portfolio companies;
- Implement your own projects on workflow automation, the increased use of AI and data analytics within Bloomhaus.
Requirements:
- Ongoing bachelor's or master's degree in business administration, economics, engineering or computer science, law, mathematics, or equivalent professional experience
- Independent and goal-oriented personality
- Enthusiasm and joy in dealing with numbers, entrepreneurship, and technologies
- Good German and written and spoken English required
- Very good IT skills are an advantage
