Supporting activities under guidance in the “VeraXtract” project:

1. Supporting fine-tuning of LLMs (e.g. BERT-based, GPT) for disinformation narrative detection and/or supporting the development of approaches of Explainabel AI (70%)
2. Supporting data analysis and data annotation: annotation of data and application of different methods from statistics and machine learning (20%)
3. Support data visualization and reporting scientific results (10%)

The place of work (on-site) is the TU Campus Charlottenburg in Berlin.

Must:

1. Good knowledge of machine learning, neuronal modeling and statistical methods (Python/R, and ideally PyTorch and Tensorflow)
2. Good knowledge of German and/or English required; willingness to acquire the respective missing language skills
3. Enrollment at a German university

Can:

1. Knowledge in the domain of xAI and Human-Computer Interaction
2. Result-oriented team player with problem-solving skills and self-motivation
