Our story began in 2015, and for the first five years, we grew organically, becoming a profitable company with a team of around 60 employees. Then, in September 2021, we raised $38 million in series A funding led by Target Global, with participation from Partech Ventures and Avid Ventures. Since then, we've doubled in size!

Description

ablefy is transforming the way people sell knowledge and digital products. While the world of online business is massive and growing fast, many creators are still stuck using clunky, outdated tools. We’re here to change that with a modern, all-in-one platform that makes selling digital content seamless. If you want to build technology that empowers entrepreneurs, we’d love to have you on the team!

At ablefy, we replace manual processes and fragmented tools with smart, automated digital solutions. Our platform allows creators to manage their entire business—from payments to course delivery—in real-time, helping them make better, data-driven decisions.

Responsibilities

Build and Ship Features: Join our cross-functional team to develop new features with Next.js (React) on the front end and build scalable backend solutions with Ruby on Rails.
Database & API: Contribute to the design, implementation, and maintenance of our REST API and database models.
Front-end Contribution: Implement UI components, use state machines and CSS preprocessors, contribute to our component library, and ensure responsive design.
Performance and Quality: Write clean, high-performance code that prioritises quality across the full stack.
Collaborate: Work closely with other developers and experts to solve technical challenges.

Requirements:

Background: You’re studying Software Engineering or a related field and have hands-on coding experience in web development (through internships, side projects, or previous jobs).
Tech Stack: Proven experience with Ruby on Rails and familiarity with modern frontend technologies like Next.js and React.
Styling Skills: Familiarity with CSS and building responsive interfaces.
Quality Focused: You believe in writing "clean code" and have some experience with testing tools.
Mindset: You’re a problem-solver who gets things done and isn't afraid to think outside the box.
Communication: You’re a proactive team player who loves learning, sharing feedback, and growing with others.
